Department Of Ilmul Qabalat wa Amraze Niswan

Department of Ilmul Qabalat wa Amraze Niswan was started in 2004. The faculty members include one reader and three lecturers. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students. The department regularly conducts journal clubs, seminars, symposium, case discussions and demonstrations to enhance the communication skills and better understanding of the subject. Till now, the department on academic platform has endorsed 36 research scholars to whom post graduate degree has been awarded.

The department’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities. Presently department has separate obstetrics and gynecology unit in hospital and a well equipped labour room.

The services we provide for patient care include
1. Minor OBG procedures
2. Family planning services
3. Conducting normal labour
4. Infertility management
5. Antenatal and Postnatal care

Department on regular basis organizes health awareness programmes related to mother and child health to provide information and health education and motivate them to translate this health information into action. Department also organizes free medical camps to provide health care services to the underserved population.
