At the helm is
Prof. M.A.Jafri with over 20 years of experience
in the field of Unani Medicine. He joined as
Director on 21st March, 2005. He has served in
various capacities as Lecturer, Reader and
Professor. He headed P.G.Dept. of Ilmul Advia
for 13 years, including two terms as Dean of
Unani Medicine Faculty in Jamia Hamdard, Delhi.
He has Supervised 26 M.D. theses of Ilmul Advia
on topics related to Pharmacological,
Toxicological and Clinical Pharmacological
studies of Unani Drugs.
Prof M.A.Jafri has been conferred with Hakeem
Ajmal Khan Award as young scientist, conferred
by Delhi Tibbi Congress and Dhanwantri Award by
All India Indian Medicine Graduate Association,
2003, Delhi.
